A clearer mind. And a choice to live differently. What began as weekend getaways turned into a lifestyle rooted in simplicity, nature, and mental clarity. After years of chasing deadlines, we chose slower days with our dogs, Inky and Callie, fireside evenings, and room to breathe. A flexible online business now supports this life quietly in the background, giving us time to focus on what truly matters. Two Dogs and a Cabin is where we share that journey — the peace, the process, and the shift toward a more intentional way of living. If you're seeking balance and breathing space, welcome. This is where work meets calm — the hum of birdsong, the smell of pine, and a view that reminds us why we chose this life. ![IMG_9194](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_9194.jpeg?width=3088&height=2316&name=IMG_9194.jpeg) **Sheila** ![IMG_6144](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_6144.jpeg?width=4032&height=3024&name=IMG_6144.jpeg) Scenes from the Life We Chose “Daily meetings with the trees.” - No screens. No noise. Just two happy dogs, a winding path, and a moment to reconnect with nature before the day begins. This is how we ground ourselves — every single morning. ![IMG_9541](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_9541.jpeg?width=4032&height=3024&name=IMG_9541.jpeg) **Inky and Callie** ![IMG_0215](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_0215.jpeg?width=3088&height=2316&name=IMG_0215.jpeg) Scenes from the Life We Chose “Work that doesn’t feel like work.” - We built a business that blends with our lifestyle — not the other way around. Just a quick check-in, and then back to stillness, birdsong, and blue skies. ![IMG_1014](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1014.jpeg?width=3088&height=2316&name=IMG_1014.jpeg) **Phil & Sheila** ![IMG_7486-1](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_7486-1.jpeg?width=3088&height=2316&name=IMG_7486-1.jpeg) Scenes from the Life We Chose “This is why we built this life.” - No requesting time off. No rigid schedule. Just tossing a bag in the trunk and heading for the trees. Because freedom means moving when your heart says go. ![IMG_5227](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_5227.jpeg?width=4032&height=3024&name=IMG_5227.jpeg) **Phil** ![IMG_1279](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1279.jpeg?width=5712&height=4284&name=IMG_1279.jpeg) Scenes from the Life We Chose “Living on our terms, one slow day at a time.” - These small rituals remind us that there’s no rush. We don’t need more — we just need meaning. Slower days, simpler joys, and the freedom to live fully. ![IMG_5227](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_5227.jpeg?width=4032&height=3024&name=IMG_5227.jpeg) **Phil** ![IMG_1376-1](https://twodogsandacabin.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_1376-1.jpeg?width=3088&height=2316&name=IMG_1376-1.jpeg) What people are saying “Where clarity begins.” - It’s in the quiet moments, curled up by the fire, that ideas flow and the noise fades.
